Ian Tamblyn began his professional life as a folk musician and songwriter in 1972 at Bobby Orr's Pizza Parlour in Peterborough. Forty-five albums, CDs and cassettes later, he just released a retrospective of his work entitled Scenes through a Mirror.
Ian has won numerous awards throughout his career including one JUNO Award, one JUNO nomination as well as a CFMA for English Songwriter of the Year and two other CFMA nominations, most recently in 2022.
In 2021, Tamblyn was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for his enduring contributions a s a folk music icon.
