Ian Tamblyn began his professional life as a folk musician and songwriter in 1972 at Bobby Orr's Pizza Parlour in Peterborough. Forty-five albums, CDs and cassettes later, he just released a retrospective of his work entitled Scenes through a Mirror.
Ian has won numerous awards throughout his career including a JUNO Award in 1976, a CFMA in 2010 and, in 2022, he received a CFMA nomination for English Songwriter of the Year.
In 2021, Tamblyn was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for his enduring contributions as a folk music icon.
